Experimental Assessment of Eco-Sand-Infused Glass Fibre-Reinforced Concrete

The necessity for sustainable construction and an ecofriendly by-product of production of cement increases the demand for eco sand. The concrete ratios were determined when natural river sand is replaced with eco sand recognized for its precise grading and minimal contaminants; the significance of using particle packing techniques is studied. When eco sand is incorporated to the concrete mixes along with other ingredients such as coarse aggregate and ordinary Portland cements (OPC) grade 53, its physical attributes and potential ability as an ecofriendly substitute is determined. Mechanical properties such as compressive and tensile strength showed greater values when 2% of glass fibres are added than 4% of glass fibres. The tests done offers essential insights into concrete with eco sand and glass fibre reinforcements, and the results provides valuable data for proving that the eco sand is one of the long-lasting construction materials.
