Rigid Heat Conductor

In this brief chapter, we consider the case of a rigid body that conducts heat and derive the classical Fourier heat equation. We then discuss the so-called heat paradox which arises from the Fourier equation, where heat propagates with infinite velocity. We present the alternative model proposed by Cattaneo to resolve this paradox.
