How Does the Big Bang Work?

  • Gian Francesco Giudice

摘要

The career of a theoretical physicist usually follows more or less the same path. After obtaining a PhD, there begins a nomadic life, in which periods of two or three years are spent with fixed-term contracts called postdocs, in academic institutes scattered all around the world. Two years in some university in Great Britain, then three years in California, and another two in a research institute in Germany. In this way, physicists wander from one side of the Atlantic to the other.
