Psoriatic Arthropathy

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a common inflammatory arthritis that characteristically occurs in individuals with psoriasis. Varied presentations of PsA may delay the timely diagnosis and treatment in some patients. The widely accepted CASPAR classification criteria are highly sensitive and specific and are frequently used as a diagnostic tool. New treatment modalities, particularly biological medicines, allow better control of diverse manifestations of PsA.
