摘要

Due to vascular compromise, Raynaud’s phenomenon (RP) is a reversible vasospastic phenomenon. It can be a primary, idiopathic, or secondary (Raynaud syndrome) and is associated with an underlying disease, usually autoimmune. The symptoms, ranging from mild discomfort to severe pain, can eventually lead to ulcerations, tissue necrosis, and gangrene due to vascular disease. Currently, various studies have shown the role of the endothelium and endothelium-independent mechanisms in the altered vasoregulation of Raynaud’s phenomenon. The clinic makes the RP diagnosis and must differentiate between primary or secondary Raynaud’s phenomenon. The treatment of this vasculopathy is initially by avoiding the triggers. In case of no improvement or complications, pharmacological treatment is carried out that is based on the reduction of vasoconstriction and the increase in blood flow. Prognosis depends on the underlying disease.
