Environmental Issues of Meat

The production of meat poses significant environmental challenges. Moreover, several viral infections are linked to meat consumption, often arising from mishandling, processing, or consuming contaminated meat. Addressing these environmental concerns demands a multifaceted approach. Encouraging a shift towards plant-based diets or reduced meat consumption can significantly mitigate these issues. Implementation of sustainable farming practices such as regenerative agriculture, rotational grazing, and agroforestry can curtail deforestation, soil degradation, and water usage.
