Consumers
摘要
Consumers have been absent in most climate transition planning, yet understanding their needs is critical in reaching Net Zero by 2050. Issues of energy security have dominated the recent energy decisions of European governments, and food insecurity is an even deeper concern for vulnerable consumers worldwide. How can the interests of consumers best be included in transition planning and how can leverage be built to protect their interests? The cheaper energy promised to consumers because of the green transition is unlikely to be delivered in the short to medium term. When will consumer interests be part of the Just Transition?
