Strategy and Planning
摘要
The final chapters of the book look at the three critical components of how any climate transition must be managed to align with the tenants of a Just Transition. The first of these is strategy and planning, whether this be in a government’s own Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) or the Corporate Transition Plan of a business. One key limitation of many plans is that they place bounds at the level of the country or the corporate entity. A more systemic approach requires the interdependence between each place-based transition to be explicit as well as the global nature of supply chains. A Just Systems approach to strategy and planning also requires the people most effected to be a key consideration right from the start.
