Renewable Energy
摘要
The United Nations has set targets to grow global renewable energy generation by 16% year on year. Whilst progress is being made it is far from being evenly distributed across the globe. The decisions China makes over the coming years are critical for global progress, both within China’s own energy systems and with the deployment of renewables worldwide. But solar, wind, green hydrogen, biomass, hydroelectric, and nuclear power all require electrical grid infrastructure at levels lacking in most countries. Planning reforms are required, and governments will need to push through national programmes whilst ensuring that tough trade-offs between community and national interests are made fairly and according to a Just Systems approach.
