Pancreato-Biliary Disorders

Treatment options for pancreato-biliary disorders include interventional endoscopy and/or interventional radiology, as well as surgery, but also a number of medications. More commonly medications are used to treat symptoms and conditions occurring secondary to primary pancreato-biliary disorder, but some directly interrupt the pathophysiological pathway leading to the conditions. Groups of medications used for the treatment of pancreato-biliary disorders and its complications include antibiotics, analgesics, antipyretics, gallstone solubilizing agents, antidepressants, anticonvulsants; possible interactions with other medications are discussed here.
