Cardiorespiratory Disorders
摘要
Cardiorespiratory diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide and are very common problems in the health of the general population. Therefore, it is not unexpected to encounter digestive disease patients with significant cardiorespiratory comorbidities. In this chapter, we focus on some common cardiorespiratory diseases as examples: atrial fibrillation, heart failure, cardiovascular disease, aortic stenosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Although at first glance cardiorespiratory diseases and the digestive system appear not to have much in common, there is a significant interdependence between them. In this chapter, we concentrate on the impact of cardiorespiratory diseases on the digestive system and their interplay.
