  • Soha Badr

摘要

This chapter critically evaluate the task-based syllabus (TBS) in language learning. It discusses how TBS, centering the student in the learning process, addresses the gap between grammar taught and its practical use. The paper explores five major themes: incorporation of TBS in teaching, influence of communicative language teaching, practical model advantages, arguments for and against TBS, and its role in language acquisition. The research highlights the flexibility and effectiveness of TBS in promoting L2 knowledge and addresses the uniqueness of learners. It contributes to the understanding of task-based language teaching and its application in real-world classroom settings.
