This book is intended as an introduction to digital electronics for first year university bachelors degree students in disciplines such as Mechatronics, Microsystems technology, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, etc. It covers approximately 25 lecture hours and is by no means intended as a complete undergraduate course in digital electronics. Reference is also occasionally made to higher level course in digital, or related, technology such as PLCs. The book is written in a modern digital format where much use is made of bookmarks and hyperlinks to navigate between topics.
