Knowing the Teacher Education Reciprocal Learning Program

This chapter provides an overview and the rationale of the Teacher Education Reciprocal Learning Program (RLP) between the University of Windsor (UW) in Canada and Southwest University (SWU) in China, and in partnership with the Greater-Essex County District School Board (GECDSB) along with Chinese schools in Chongqing. We demonstrate why and how the pre-service teacher education RLP was developed, and how the RLP has not only actively facilitated the exchanges and interactions between Canadian and Chinese pre-service teachers and teacher educators, but also engaged Canadian and Chinese school educators and students in West-East reciprocal learning.
