What are the Success Factors and Barriers for Refugee Entrepreneurs? The Narrative Constructed by Syrian Refugees in Turkey
摘要
This chapter examines the success factors and barriers of refugee entrepreneurs in Turkey. Two hundred and forty-four owners/managers of refugee enterprises have participated in the survey. Exploratory factor analysis was utilized to analyze the data. Based on the factor and reliability analyses, out of 40 independent variables 24 variables were combined into seven groups of independent variables. The findings of this study provide policymakers with a deeper understanding of the success factors and barriers to the entrepreneurial activities of refugees. Refugee entrepreneurship programs could be better outlined in light of the insights of this study.
