Relevant Developmental Embryology: An Overview

It is relevant to complete this volume after an appreciation of the basic head and neck anatomy by adding an understanding of the embryology of head and neck and craniofacial development. Embryology is not usually formally considered in many anatomical textbooks and when it is the relevant information is often placed at the commencement of studies without any contextual understanding or before there is a complete grasp of the germane anatomy.
