Models and Tools of Computer Engineering for Bridging Neurology and Psychoanalysis

The modeling of the Ψ-organ requires tools that neither medicine nor psychoanalysis had at their disposal a hundred years ago. Namely, the laws and methods of contemporary information engineering, the extended Mealy theory, the layer and abstraction models. It goes without saying that the various experts have to overcome enormous challenges. It must be clear that only a team of experts in psychoanalysis, neurology, computer technology, and computer science can overcome them, as was the case in the SiMA project. The authors consider solo developments to be hubris.
