Responses

This chapter contains my responses to the fifteen papers, divided into four thematic parts. I have crafted these replies to directly address the main points of the questions and objections raised by my interlocutors. In this context, the chapter also makes a case for the methodology of New Realism, arguing that philosophy's theory construction is essentially dialectical. This is an essential aspect of the objectivity of higher-order philosophical thought concerning thought itself. The chapter makes this dialectical/dialogical nature explicit in a detailed engagement with specific alternatives to propositions that are part of New Realism.
