Dynamic Characterization and Fault Identification of Planetary Gear Systems Under Transient Loads

摘要

Aiming at the problem that it is difficult to accurately identify faults in time-frequency analysis of vibration signals of planetary gear systems under transient loads, this paper carries out a dynamic characterization study and proposes an order analysis approach to identify fault information. Firstly, a translation-torsion dynamic model of the planetary gear system is constructed by comprehensively considering various factors such as transient load, static transmission error and time-varying vibration transmission path, which reveals the influence law of transient load on the dynamic characteristics of the system. Secondly, due to the difficulty of accurately identifying fault information in the spectrum of vibration signals under transient loading an order analysis method is proposed, analyzed the relationship between the characteristic order as well as the characteristic frequency. Finally, the correctness of the simulation model and the effectiveness of order analysis for fault identification of transient loaded planetary gear systems are verified using experiments.
