摘要

The aim of this chapter is to critically explore the issues and debates regarding global social policy reforms within the context of healthy ageing. The authors of this chapter examine the transformation of the healthy ageing agenda and investigate how this is encapsulated within a social policy setting and framed within the broader realm of climate change issues, as these approaches are increasingly in demand as a response to the changing social and natural world. Moreover, the significance of this research lies in its demonstration of how social policy debates shift within the context of healthy ageing and the greater impact these have on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—specifically, the Decade of Healthy Ageing campaign.
