摘要

In the current rapidly changing technological environment, firms are faced with the challenge of choosing from a wide range of new technologies. This study proposes a framework for analysing new technology selection strategies based on the entropy weight method and the TOPSIS model, aiming to help firms evaluate and select the most suitable technology for their strategic needs. First, by combining qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, a new technology selection evaluation index system including four dimensions of production efficiency, product quality, cost saving and market competitiveness is constructed. Then, the weights of the indicators were objectively determined by applying the hierarchical analysis method (AHP) and the entropy weighting method. The TOPSIS model was further used to calculate the relative proximity of each technology with respect to the ideal solution in order to determine the ranking of its advantages and disadvantages. This analysis not only enhances the transparency and science of decision-making, but also provides a systematic decision support tool for enterprises to help them make a more reasonable choice among the many optional new technologies. The results of this study show that the analysis method combining the entropy weight method and the TOPSIS model can effectively assess the comprehensive impact of new technologies on enterprises, and provide strong support for their technological innovation and strategic decision-making.
