Auxiliary Role of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Translation and Its Improvement Strategies

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, its application in the field of medical translation is becoming increasingly widespread, greatly improving the quality and efficiency of translation. With the advancement of medical technology, new technologies, devices, and drugs in the medical field are constantly being updated, all of which need to be accurately conveyed to medical professionals and patients worldwide through medical translation. Therefore, the demand for medical translation is growing day by day, and the requirements for translation quality and efficiency are also increasing. This article first delves into the auxiliary role of AI in medical translation, including data integration and format uniformity, accurate translation of professional terminology, knowledge extraction and intelligent Q&A, and clinical decision support. To further improve the quality and efficiency of medical translation, this article proposes an optimization strategy for medical translation based on deep learning (DL). By constructing a deep neural network model, medical texts can be DL and understood to achieve more accurate and fluent translation. The experimental results show that the DL based medical translation model has achieved significant improvements in translation accuracy, fluency, and semantic consistency.
