Research on the Impact Mechanism of Artificial Intelligence on Enterprise Production Efficiency

With the burgeoning innovation in artificial intelligence technology, the significance of artificial intelligence in augmenting the production efficiency of enterprises has become increasingly conspicuous. Based on this, this paper takes Chinese listed companies as the research object, based on the relevant data from 2010 to 2022, and conducts an empirical test around the impact mechanism of artificial intelligence on the production efficiency of enterprises. The research findings elucidate that, first and foremost, artificial intelligence imparts a substantively positive influence on enterprise production efficiency, an effect that has withstood a gamut of robustness assessments. Secondly, it is discerned that internal control expenditures, asset operational efficacy, and the echelons of human capital assume a mediating function in the trajectory through which artificial intelligence affects enterprise production efficiency. Thirdly, the repercussions of artificial intelligence on enterprise production efficiency exhibit a degree of regional and industrial heterogeneity. The research results of this paper explain the importance of artificial intelligence technology at the micro-enterprise level and help to understand the role of artificial intelligence in the production process of enterprises.
