Regulatory Framework and Standards for Adapting AI Systems: Interplay Between AI and Environmental Policies

摘要

Artificial intelligence (AI) has drawn every field’s attention towards itself. Experts have shown millions of possibilities in the future using this technique, which is anticipated to encourage the rapid development in social values and economic growth. Many industrialized nations including various arenas inculcate AI in many of their headways. Experts of policymakers have now become more focused and making efforts to burgeoning AI-based industries and ambitious legislative initiatives around AI. National Strategy on Artificial Intelligence (NSAI) in India and other world AI regulative agencies also consider societal limitations, ethical concerns, and risks for the advancement and deployment of AI-generic applications. In this chapter, we will discuss the need and the action taken by various regulatory framework and their standards for adapting AI systems. We will also discuss all the regulations mentioned to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) for making various environmental policies. We believe it is bound to happen when digital evolution artificial intelligence (AI) will not only play an indicative role in controlling environmental problems but also endorse a crucial role in caring for our human race.
