This chapter is an overview of common behaviors that may be experienced with dementia. It also explains why the behaviors and emotions may occur. Although this is not a comprehensive list, we focus on the most common behaviors that impact caregivers. With this knowledge, caregivers have a map for navigating this journey that can be frustrating.
