摘要

An organizational diagnosis enables to attain a panoramic view of the current situation, in addition to comprehensive aspects that affect a company's success. The objective of the research was to perform an organizational and financial diagnosis in a small professional services company. The adopted methodology was a case study with a mixed and descriptive approach; it was conducted with the application of a self-diagnostic multiple-choice questionnaire from the Secretaría de Economía, an unstructured interview, and a financial analysis. The analysis unit was a small professional services company located in Culiacán, Sinaloa. The evaluated area that reveals the greatest management problem is staff, while the best rated is technology area; however, pricing and quality divisions present an important room for improvement and proposals are made to align them. Regarding financial analysis, the main result is acceptable liquidity, low profitability, and a sustained increase in working capital. Recommendations are proposed to address these findings. The contribution is methodological, as it shows how a business diagnosis and financial analysis were carried out in a small professional services company.
