Study Habits and Motivation for Learning in High School Students
摘要
The objective of this study was to describe the relationship that exists between study habits and motivation for learning in upper secondary education students, through the application of a standardized instrument to delimit priority areas of opportunity for attention. The instrument that was applied is called Study Habits and Motivation for Learning (H.E.M.A.), carried out by Castro et al. [7], with a reliability of 0.811 in Cronbach’s Alpha. Applied to 99 students of both sexes between the ages of 15 and 17, students of the second semester, with 38 male participants and 61 female participants. All of them from a higher secondary education institution in the Mayo Region, in northern Mexico. In the present study did not have such an impact, so it is urged to theoretically review the items and verify them through empirical evidence in conditions similar to the study.
