MicroRNA-Mediated Adaptations: Unveiling the Resilience of Plant to Changing Environments
摘要
Currently, with constant climate change, agriculture has suffered major impacts. Plant miRNAs are emerging as an important tool to respond to various biotic and abiotic factors. This chapter explores the plant miRNAs and their regulated targets in response to changes in temperature, drought and in response to association with different microorganisms, such as fungi, viruses and bacteria. In general, it is possible to observe the promising use of manipulating miRNAs as tools to obtain plants resilient to changing environments. Therefore, understanding this mechanism in more depth is enriching for generating plants for the future.
