Sub-Synchronous Oscillations Under Transient Disturbances in Islanded Microgrids
摘要
Due to the interaction between different grid-forming converters, various hidden attractors may emerge, which coexist with the stable equilibrium point and manifest themselves as sub-synchronous oscillations in the time domain, thereby significantly influencing the transient synchronization stability of the islanded microgrid. In this chapter, it is shown that the transient stability can be enhanced by eliminating the hidden attractors, or protecting critical converters and/or accelerating the restarting process, or eliminating the sub-synchronous oscillations through removing specific converters.
