Epilogue to the Third Edition

This chapter is the Epilogue and gives a brief summary of what the book covers, and the most important takeaways. The epilogue takes the reader through an intricate series of steps beginning with the Biden Administration’s climate agenda, the greenhouse effect, energy laws, environmental justice, and how NEPA and the CEQ regulations work including the latest changes to both the NEPA statute and the CEQ regulations. The main theme of the book is that the CEQ regulations at 40 CFR 1502.16(a)(7) can and should be used as the basis for performing substantive energy requirements analysis in order to combat global warming.
