Getting to Net Zero by 2050

This chapter discusses how the United States plans to get to net zero by 2050 via its long-term strategy and National Climate Strategy (NCS), which as of October 2023 is not publicly available. It also discusses the concepts of atmospheric commons, the Paris Agreement, and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Several ways to combat global warming are discussed including: using NEPA, the USEPA, various executive orders (EOs), geoengineering, a constitutional amendment, and non-technological means to cool the Earth, and sustainability.
