Fossil Matter Correlation
摘要
A step in determining linkages between different fossil materials using CSIA is described here. This includes the correlation of oil/oil systems, as well as the correlation between oil and potential source rocks. These correlations commonly use biomarker analysis of, e.g., hopanes and steranes. However, isotope analysis can provide a substantial improvement in such correlations.
