Addition Rule for Disjoint Unions

In this video we learn how to count situations when the sample space can be represented as a disjoint union, and we deduce a simple formula for these situations. We will also review the set-theoretic notions of union, intersection, disjoint union, and how to represent these concepts with a Venn diagram.
