Exploring “Modelo Alberto Spencer” Stadium: 3D Virtualization for an Immersive Experience
摘要
Technological innovations in the field of information and communication have provided diverse applications in multiple sectors. In particular, advances in software have allowed optimization in the virtualization of objects and sites of interest. In this study, we present the results obtained from the virtualization process of “Modelo Alberto Spencer” stadium in Guayaquil, Ecuador. By implementing a set of advanced 3D modeling techniques and animation tools, users are offered the possibility to explore in detail the different structures, locations and areas that make up this emblematic stadium. This type of work is extremely beneficial both for advertising and for remote access through virtual reality or augmented reality, and can be applied to the modeling of any other scenario. The results obtained demonstrate the appropriate selection of 3D modeling tools and techniques to achieve a realistic model of “Modelo Alberto Spencer” stadium in this study.
