摘要

Traditional voting methods in Credit Unions often involve manual processes that are time-consuming, prone to errors, and lack transparency. The use of Blockchain technology in the electronic voting process can be an innovative solution to improve transparency, security, and efficiency. To address these challenges, this work developed an e-vote solution leveraging Blockchain technology applying the agile Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology with various tools such as Visual Studio Code and Remix IDE, JavaScript, Solidity, and PostgreSQL. The ISO/IEC 25010 standard was used to measure the security of the e-vote system through the metrics of reliability, integrity, non-repudiation, accountability, and authenticity based on the Goal Question Metric (GQM) approach. The results indicate that the level of security obtained is 94.5%, the findings show that the e-vote system meets the client’s requirements and improves the confidence of the members of the financial institution in this process, ensuring transparency and security for decision-making, eliminating intermediaries and the automation of processes reduce costs and streamline the voting process.
