摘要

The economic consequences caused by social conflicts are of great magnitude and cause disinterest in investment in the mining sector. For this reason, the research is relevant since it seeks solution methods in the management of social projects to reduce social conflict. Similar problems are faced by other countries that develop mining in the rural sector due to the weak presence of the state and the socioeconomic deficiencies that are the basis of conflicts. In this problem, the literature agrees on the lack of communication, participation, vision and shared management among those interested in the development of social projects. The analysis of the problem was carried out, initially using the Ishikawa diagram to identify the probable causes that generate social conflicts. Within the categories developed, the management indicators were identified based on ECLAC’s social indicators in mining. Also, the lack of a computer platform that is accessible to the management of social indicators was identified, as well as the lack of an important actor that could help improve this management: the academy. The proposal of this research consists of designing a scheme of shared computer management of the indicators between the state, the company, the community and adding the academy as a fourth interested party to jointly manage the development of social projects in the mining sector generating shared value and reducing social conflicts.
