摘要

The present work is a bibliographic review based on the Boolean method on wireless vital signs monitoring devices for better patient care, where from the Covid-19 pandemic the importance of these devices was analyzed due to their agility and pressure regarding to human resources that may have some type of bias, it is worth mentioning that the modified early warning system (MEWS) is taken into consideration for the architecture of these devices, where the feasibility and fidelity are intended to be validated through device case studies. existing ones such as ViSi Mobile (VM), HealthPatch (HP), among others. All telemonitoring devices (existing on the market and prototypes) found in the bibliography are collected in a table, and the results reported by the different authors are expressed. These devices have proven to be effective in monitoring patients with chronic diseases such as heart failure, in post- and preoperative ICU patients. In addition, they can be useful for monitoring patients after hospital discharge, which reduces the risk of readmission, providing security and confidence to patients, they have sensors with good precision for monitoring, they lighten the workload of medical staff and They make the patient have a better quality of life. It is important to mention that these devices require more research, evaluating the feasibility in the hospital setting and at home in a more in-depth way and inviting researchers to carry out their research adding the pressure of the device as data to evaluate the cost-benefit relationship.
