Digital Contexts: A Theoretical Model for Researching Children’s Digital Development

This chapter is an essay that addresses how the concept of digital contexts (Abs, Contextos Digitais de Desenvolvimento Humano. In: Abs D (Org) Contextos Digitais: encontros, pesquisas e práticas, pp 8–21, UFRGS, 2022) using Urie Bronfenbrenner’s bioecology of human development (2005) can synthesize the main contemporary themes and discussions about the digital. The objective of this work is to propose a viable theoretical model for research and analysis on children’s digital development.
