An Algorithm for the Computer-Aided Method of Empathy Training by Modulating Shared Intentionality
摘要
The theoretical study aims to introduce an algorithm for the computer-aided method of empathy training based on knowledge about shared intentionality modulation in bioengineering systems obtained from previous research. The study summarizes the notable limitations of the existing empathy training psychological methods. The literature review shows that empathy appears at the onset of life together with the beginning of cognition due to shared intentionality. It also shows that shared intentionality modulation makes empathy training possible. The article presents the data obtained from our research study on manipulating the attitudes of the subjects toward non-affective cues in a bioengineering system. The article emphasizes that computer-assisted technologies for empathy training, which employ the innate subliminal processes in trainees, may enhance the efficiency of the existing psychological methods. This technique can also make these methods universal with standardized protocols.
