摘要

The “Cloud-Enabled Automatic Accident Detection System Using IoT” introduces an automatic accident detection system leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technology to swiftly alert emergency services or family members of accidents. Sensor data and vital parameters are transmitted to DynamoDB for storage. Accidents are detected through a push button integrated with Raspberry Pi, capturing location data for notification purposes. Cloud services enhance scalability and reliability. The paper provides a comprehensive overview of hardware and software components, detailing the workflow and system implementation. Results demonstrate immediate notifications upon activation, ensuring timely response to accidents. In deliberation of potential limitations, and in consideration of future extensions aimed at enhancing system capabilities. The approach presented herein provides a robust solution for expedited accident reporting, thereby contributing to the enhancement of road safety and reduction in fatality rates. By harnessing IoT and cloud technologies, the system addresses the critical need for efficient accident detection and emergency response mechanisms, thus paving the way for safer roadways and enhanced public safety.
