Securing Asymmetric Key Cryptography in 6G Wireless and Mobile Environments: A Comprehensive Review and Proposed Hybrid Cryptosystem

摘要

Strong security measures are required to protect sensitive data and communications because of the quick developments in wireless and mobile technologies as well as the launch of the 6G network. Particularly in situations requiring key distribution, digital signatures, and secure communication channels, asymmetric key cryptography is essential for guaranteeing data confidentiality, integrity, and validity. The dynamic nature of the network, the constrained resources of mobile devices, and the possibility of multiple attacks provide particular difficulties for the security of asymmetric key cryptography in wireless and mobile environments. The methods and procedures now in use for asymmetric key creation, distribution, and management in these kinds of settings are thoroughly reviewed in this research study. An adversary could potentially undermine the security of asymmetric key cryptography by taking advantage of the limits and weaknesses that the authors have identified. This paper proposes a hybrid cryptosystem security solution that integrates various cryptographic techniques—to overcome these issues and provide a reliable and adaptable defence. Lattice-based encryption, quantum-resistant algorithms, and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) are all combined in the hybrid cryptosystem to offer improved security against a variety of threats. This research paper’s discoveries and contributions will have a big impact on how 6G networks build safe and dependable cryptographic protocols that will safeguard private information and communications in wireless and mobile contexts.
