Personal History It is important for the Pathology―epidemiology‖ of the ulcer. E.g. Smoking, alcoholism, Spicy food in tongue ulcer. Complaint: Loss of continuity of surface epithelium. The site of the Ulcer is of paramount importance to suggest its pathology “Etiology”. At this point it is important to ask for number in the same area or in other body areas e.g. Genito-oral ulcers in Behcit’s disease.
