Optimizing Performance Measures in a Finite Markovian Heterogeneous Queueing Model with Encouraged Arrival

In this paper, We maximize the system-size and minimize the waiting-time in a heterogeneous M/M/2/K queueing model with encouraged arrival, reverse-balking and reverse reneging. The iterative method is used to obtain the stationary system-size probabilities. The average rate of reverse reneging, reverse-balking and the performance measures are obtained. Finally, we provide numerical examples and simulation results to illustrate, how the parameters of the queueing model impact the system behaviour.
