Stochastic Resonance with Entropy
摘要
The use of stochastic resonance applied to climatic sciences is one of the main field of study to understand the climatic history of Earth. In the last 40 years the climatic science theory has shown as the synchronization between short and long term phenomena represent the foundation of the system mechanism. This paper is willing to firstly introduce briefly one of the most common model in the field, showing the stochastic resonance effect on Earth energy balance model, and then analyze the development of entropy. Lastly we are going to propose two different approaches to define probabilistically the different states of the system: the first one based on the already known interaction between short-term climate fluctuations and long-term phenomena, while the second will introduce an original approach based on a coupled equations system. The aim of the latter is to introduce the effect of the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation in the analysis of Earth climatic history.
