Dissipative Force on an External Quark in AdS Gauss-Bonnet Gravity with String Cloud

In this work, we study the dissipative force experienced by an external quark in AdS Gauss-Bonnet gravity with an attached string cloud. The dissipative force is calculated using gauge/gravity duality with the consideration of the AdS Gauss-Bonnet with string cloud as dual bulk. The drag force is studied with respect to the temperature (T) of the black hole, the Gauss-Bonnet coupling constant ( \(\alpha \) ) and the density of the string cloud (a).
