The Physics of Relativity and the Strangelet Singularity
摘要
This chapter provides a brief introduction to the physics theories with a focus on the special and general theories of relativity. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiment is a cutting-edge investment by physicists to understand the fundamental physical theories about the universe’s beginning. A singularity has been put forth by concerned scientists on the possibility of a strangelet, a type of strange matter, created during the experiments. It would result in the creation of a black hole and the end of the universe. The present author offers a Buddhist insight on time and space, which says that time does not exist. The novel insight from the Buddhist wisdom in turn provides a refreshing interpretation on the strangelet singularity.
