Teleassessment Methods in Pediatric Rehabilitation
摘要
Due to brain development in children, early diagnosis and treatment are important in terms of motor development and physical performance, as well as preventing and improving deformations secondary to diagnosed diseases. Early physiotherapy and rehabilitation practices have significantly affected neural proliferation and plasticity in the brain during active synaptogenesis in early infancy. This chapter aims to explain the methods that can be used to evaluate children in telehealth today when technology has developed significantly. Telehealth applications have experienced significant growth in recent years due to the convenience of receiving services from the patient’s home, resulting in time and cost savings, easy access to rehabilitation services, and the ability to provide long-term patient follow-up. In this chapter, as a result of literature review, 5DT 5 Ultra Gloves, TelereHUB-CHILD, Tele-UPCAT System, TeleFE, Gross Motor Function-Family Report, Pediatric Disability Evaluation Inventory—Computer Adaptive Tests used in tele-evaluation of children are explained.
