Correspondence Analysis (CA) is a method of data reduction that is applied to two-way tables of counts, cf. Chap. 2 . It typically results in a two or three dimensional graph of row scores and column scores. Proper interpretation of such graphs is complex. Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA) applies similar ideas to data with more than two classification factors by simultaneously looking at all of the two-factor marginal tables.
