This study aims to explore variables responsible for building employee engagement while working remotely, especially from home, which has been established as a new normal post-COVID-19 pandemic. The study explores family and supervisory support as factors impacting employee engagement. The researchers collected data from 362 respondents, which were then assessed for structural equation modeling using the partial least squares (PLS) method. The research results suggest that alongside supervisor’s support, family support is also an important factor responsible for employee engagement. The research provides valuable insights into the field of employee management, supervision, and engagement. The results are not only valuable for employees in understanding the role of family and supervisors in building effective engagement but also guide the HR managers in designing employee management strategies accordingly.
