Blockchain Powered Real-Estate Management System

The traditional real estate purchasing process in India is unorganized due to high dependency on third parties, which makes the transaction highly time consuming, risky and above all expensive. Also, an element of trust between buyers and sellers is questionable in the current process. Land fraud, difficulty accessing transaction parties’ personal data, and a lot of paperwork are some of the current problems in the real-estate industry. Blockchain and smart contract technology has the potential to address the above-mentioned problems. By using this peer-to-peer model of transaction, issues surrounding the exposure of personal data can be handled. Tokenization ensures the security of assets. The proposed solution shows how blockchain and smart contract technology can digitize real estate transactions in India, thereby reducing reliance on real estate agents.
